(10-12-25) Lima Police Department officers responded to the area of Vine Street and Madison Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Sunday. They found two juvenile males, ages 17 and 15, outside of a residence who were struck by gunfire, with both suffering non-life-threatening injuries.

An LPD officer was in the area at the time the shots were fired, and officers located a suspicious vehicle fleeing the area. Upon stopping it, they found four male juveniles ranging in age from 14 to 16.
Police did not identify any of the juveniles.
Two firearms were thrown from the vehicle as it fled and both firearms were recovered by officers. The four juveniles were taken into custody and are being held at the Allen County Juvenile Detention Center.
