(10-1-25) Another busy month in October for the Greenville Public Library.

Pumpkin Painting Palooza returns to GPL

GREENVILLE – Greenville Public Library is once againholding our annual Pumpkin Painting Palooza!

What used to be for kids only has now been opened to all ages. To keep things fair, we’ve divided the contest into age groups for judging. Ages 0-5, 6-9, 10-13, 14-18, and 18+ will each compete for a prize.

Pumpkins can be decorated in any way you choose. The more unique and creative, the better! However, carved pumpkins will not be accepted. All entries can be dropped off at the Circulation Desk starting October 10. The final day for submissions will be on October 25. Judging will be held on October 27, with winners being notified soon after.

Anyone wishing to have their pumpkin returned following judging can request this when filling out their entry form. Pumpkins can be picked up from October 27 through 31. Any pumpkin not claimed by the 31st will be discarded.
