But during the past several years numerous Burger King franchises have closed across the country.

Burger King will be closing some locations in 2025, part of its “Reclaim the Flame” plan to revitalize the brand by closing under-performing stores and remodeling others to meet higher standards. The company aims to close up to 400 restaurants by the end of 2025, with the closures depending on the willingness of franchisees to commit to required changes and the overall recovery of the business
