(9-18-25) Drew Holyfield (19) of Hicksville is facing multiple criminal charges, including felony failure to comply and operating a vehicle while intoxicated, after Hicksville Police say he led them on a 40-minute chase early Thursday morning just before 2:30 a.m. Holifield had tried to buy alcohol at a gas station.
Holifield drove off at a high rate of speed. The officer attempted to pull him over, but police say he continued reaching speeds of more than 100mph, causing multiple crashes.
An officer with the Ohio State Patrol ended the pursuit by conducting a pit maneuver near State Road 49 and Industrial Drive.
