(9-10-25) Jeffery Hall (38) of Celina was arrested by the Celina Police Department on two separate domestic violence charges.

The first is a 1st degree domestic violence, knowingly cause physical harm.

The 2nd charge is a 4th degree felony charge of domestic violence, knowingly cause physical harm.

In Ohio…Several specific factors can elevate a domestic violence charge from a misdemeanor to a felony in Ohio. The most common trigger is a prior conviction. If an individual has one previous conviction for domestic violence, a new charge becomes a felony of the fourth degree. If the person has two or more such prior convictions, the offense is elevated further to a felony of the third degree.

He was also booked on a probation/parole violation, which is an unclassified felony.

He is being held with no bond at the Mercer County Adult Detention Center awaiting court hearings.
