(8-18-25) The Celina Lake Festival Committee gave a $1,000 donation to the Lake Improvement Association (LIA).

The Lake Festival AmphiCar owners donated ride proceeds to the committee with the request to pass them on to local nonprofits. LIA was chosen as one of the recipients.

This donation will help fund the West Bank Playground and Shelter House Project, scheduled for completion in September.

The best news for LIA was the recent news of the public health advisory being lifted.

The advisories on the lake’s beaches were posted in late May.
