(8-17-25) Johnathon Grove (44) of Columbus was sentenced this past to over 100 years in prison. Grove was found guilty recently in a trial in Mercer County Common Pleas Court.
According to prosecutors, Grove’s relationship with the child began in 2020 over social media.
Mercer County Common Pleas Court after a jury found him guilty of 40 charges, including rape, illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material, and importuning.
Should Grove in the future be released from prison, he would be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
