Joint Township District Memorial Hospital has emerged as the winner of Premier Health’s Door To Needle Challenge for Quarter 1, achieving an exceptional door-to-needle time of just 20 minutes during a stroke alert on February 20.

The Door To Needle Challenge is a quarterly performance competition among 10 spoke sites that utilize Miami Valley Hospital as the comprehensive stroke center in Premier Health’s Telestroke network. These spoke sites include seven Premier Health hospitals and three rural non-Premier facilities, all striving to provide the fastest and most effective stroke interventions in partnership with the central hub.
