(8-5-25) On July 30th, the Zahn-Marion Township Library completed its 2025 summer reading program, “Color Our World” with a party to celebrate,held at the Marion Local Elementary gym in Maria Stein.

​The top two readers in grades one through five were announced at the party.  They are first-grade – Louis Otte with 2,770 points and Claire Gehret with 2,440 points; second grade – Audrey Koesters with 2,570points and Ryla Millis with 1,830 points; third-grade – Liv Wolters with 3,890 points and Chloe Luebke with 3,350 points; fourth-grade – Madi Hess with 3,320 points and Caroline Gross with 3,300 points; fifth-grade – Trayson Stachler with 2,700 points and Zachary Millis with 1,820 points. The top readers each received an “Color Our World” t-shirt for their accomplishment.

Entertainment at the party was provided by Tada Magician.

​The program concluded with prizes, awards and certificates for all the summer reading participants.  Everyone was congratulated for all their hard work.  

The library would like to thank the Chickasaw Fire Department for providing fire truck rides to children going into grades 1 thru 5 that reached 350 points or more and the Marion Township Trustees for allowing us to put a scavenger hunt along the bike path again this year and everyone who participated in it.
