(8-5-25) On August 5, 2025 at approximately 5:59 am, Darke County Deputies along with Gettysburg Rescue, Gettysburg Fire, Bradford Rescue and Bradford Fire were dispatched to the 5700 block of Gettysburg-Pitsburg Road in reference to a two-vehicle injury crash.

Preliminary investigation revealed a blue 2024 Nissan Rogue driven by Arnson Desir (32) of Dayton, Ohio was traveling northbound on Gettysburg-Pitsburg Road when he traveled left of the centerline, striking a southbound tan 2012 Chevy Impala driven by Anthony Oda (28) of Bradford, Ohio. The impact caused Desir’s vehicle to overturn, coming to rest on its top in the middle of the roadway. Oda traveled off the right side of the roadway striking a cornfield and a concrete post.

Desir and Oda were both transported to Wayne HealthCare for further evaluation with minor injuries.

Desir was issued a citation for driving left of the centerline.
