(8-2-25) On August 2, 2025 at approximately 1:38 a.m. Darke County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with Hollansburg Fire, Tri Village Rescue, and CareFlight, responded to the 2100 block of Hollansburg-Richmond Road in reference to a single-vehicle accident with injury.

Preliminary investigation revealed that a Red 2007 Honda Fit, driven by Nathan Wiedmaier (18), of Greenville, was traveling north on Hollansburg-Richmond Road. Wiedmaier failed to control the vehicle, driving off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle rolled several times, before Wiedmaier was ejected.

Wiedmaier was transported to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight, where his condition remains unknown at this time.

This crash remains under investigation.
