PIQUA (8-1-25) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced today that an OVI checkpoint will be held from 8 pm until 10 pm tonight on State Route 571 in the city of Greenville.
The OVI checkpoint, funded by federal grant funds, is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers and is a partnership between the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Greenville Police Department, and the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
The checkpoint will also be held in conjunction with nearby saturation patrols to aggressively combat alcohol-related injury and fatal crashes.
