(7-18-25) On July 17, 2025 at approximately 6:12 p.m. Darke County Deputies along with Gettysburg Fire & Rescue responded to the intersection of U.S. 36 and Greentree Road in Bradford, in reference to a two vehicle accident with injury.

Preliminary investigation revealed a gray 2016 Kenworth dump truck was traveling east on U.S. 36 slowing to turn north onto Greentree Road. A blue 2018 Chevrolet Equinox also traveling east, failed to maintain assured clear distance and struck the rear of the dump truck.

The driver of the Kenworth was identified as Timothy Flora (56) of Bradford, Ohio. The driver of the Chevrolet was identified as August Evans (22) of Troy, Ohio.

Ms. Evans was transported to Miami Valley Hospital via CareFlight for non-life-threatening injuries. Mr. Flora was uninjured in the accident.

This crash remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
