(7-8-25) Ayden Hadding (21) of Cridersville died in an industrial accident at Kard Welding on Osterloh Road.in Minster on Monday Morning just before 7am.

The Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office said Hadding was crushed by a large bridge beam. The beam reportedly shifted and fell on him while he was hooking it up, moving it through a sandblaster or between machines.

Hadding died on the scene. A witness told detectives that the loud machinery in the plant prevented them from hearing the beam shift, and although they found the victim within a minute or two, it was too late.

OSHA has been contacted and will conduct an investigation.
