(7-6-25) Today was the first day of the Logan County Fair in Bellefontaine…a young boy was injured late Sunday afternoon after an incident in the pit area ahead of the Derbydog Demolition Derby at the Logan County Fair.

The boy was transported around 5:30 p.m. by MedFlight to an area hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

Bellefontaine Fire and EMS personnel were assisting at the scene.

According to fair officials, he is currently in stable condition.

The incident occurred shortly before the event was set to begin at the grandstand.
