In Ohio, criminal trespass is generally a fourth-degree misdemeanor. This means a conviction can result in up to 30 days in jail and a fine of up to $250. However, the penalties can be more severe if the trespass involves certain vehicles like snowmobiles or if it’s classified as aggravated trespass.
