(6-25-25) Wyatt Chapman (19) of Celina was booked yesterday on two charges…4th degree misdemeanor of criminal trespass, land premises of another and a 3rd degree charge of offenses involving underage persons, underage consume beer intoxicating liquor.
In Ohio, criminal trespass on the land or premises of another is typically a fourth-degree misdemeanor. This occurs when someone knowingly enters or remains on someone else’s property without permission, or enters or remains in an area restricted to certain people or times, knowing they are not authorized.
Any person under the age of 21 that orders, pays for, shares in the cost of, attempts to purchase, possesses, consumes, or is under the influence of beer or intoxicating liquor can be charged with a misdemeanor of the third-degree. Third-degree misdemeanors carry a maximum sentence of 60 days jail time and a $500 fine.
Chapman according to online records was transferred from the Mercer County Adult Detention Center to another facility last night.
