(6-25-25) Esteban Castillo (50) was arrested today on a 5th degree felony charge of possession of methamphetamine.

In Ohio, possession of methamphetamine is a serious offense, and the severity of the charge and penalties depend heavily on the amount of the drug possessed.
Possession of less than three grams of methamphetamine is classified as a fifth-degree felony (F5) in Ohio.
Penalties for a Fifth-Degree Felony Methamphetamine Possession:
- Prison: 6 to 12 months incarceration.
- Fine: Up to $2,500.
- Community Control (Probation): Up to five years.

Castillo is being held with no bond in the Mercer County Adult Detention Center pending a Mercer County Common Pleas Court appearance.
