(6-24-25) Christopher Anderson, Jr (22) of Celina was indicted on June 20th on a 4th degree felony charge of failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer on June 3rd.
In Ohio, failure to comply with a police officer’s order or signal can be a felony, specifically a fourth-degree felony, if the offender was fleeing immediately after committing a felony, according to the Ohio Revised Code. This is outlined in Ohio Revised Code Section 2921.331(B). Generally, failure to comply is a misdemeanor, but it elevates to a felony when combined with fleeing from the scene of another felony


Anderson is due in Mercer County Common Pleas Court on July 2nd. He is being held in the Mercer County Adult Detention Center on $50,000 (10%) bond.
