Ohio City’s Pride Fishing Contest

(6-2-25) Facebook’s Ohio City’s Pride is having their first annual “Ohio City’s Pride Fishing Contest” on June 14th-15th, during the * “Ohio ‘s Free Fishing Days”. The top two prizes in the male (15 and up) and female (15 and up) categories is a free fishing trip for two with “The Dirty Hooker Fishing Charters” on Lake Erie. There will also be prizes for Youth: 2-7, Youth: 8-14, and a random pick category. The biggest fish, by length, will be the winner in each category. You must take the fish to a qualifying location and have an employee measure your catch and then have a picture of your catch with the info and send it to Ohio City’s Pride with your name, phone number, location, species and length. All information that you provide will be for our record and will not be shared, except your first name and location of catch (unless asked not to post) and the species and length.

The grand prize is a Lake Erie charter for two with The Dirty Hooker Fishing Charter. This prize will be given in the Male adult category and the female adult category. The kids’ categories and the random pick winners will receive a $50.00 gift card donated from Taylor’s Auto Sale “In Memory of Don Taylor”. Everyone that enters the contest gets a chance to win!!!!

* On June 14 and 15, 2025, all Ohio residents may fish without a license as part of

__RULES__

• Each individual must catch their own fish (parents can help land 02-07 year olds)

• The fish must be caught in one of the counties listed or surrounding counties

• The fish must be alive at the time of photo and measurement

• The fish must be photographed at a qualifying location (listed below)

• The fish must be caught according to Ohio DNR regulations

_QUALIFYING LOCATION__

To have your fish in the competition you must be certified by one of our locations listed below. You will need to take a picture of your fish at any of the below locations and the measurement recorded by an employee.
