(5-21-25) On May 21, 2025 at approximately 12:49 PM Darke County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Arcanum Police, Arcanum Fire, Arcanum Rescue, and Pitsburg Fire responded to the 1700 Block of SR 49 in reference to a single vehicle injury crash.

Preliminary investigation revealed a blue 2019 Chevrolet truck driven by Laura Stutz (51) of Greenville was northbound on SR 49 when she failed to maintain control of her vehicle exiting the road to the left striking a pole then rolling onto its side coming to rest in the ditch on the North side of the road.

Stutz was transported to Wayne Healthcare with suspected minor injuries.

This crash remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
