From the Celina Police:

(5-14-25) At about 7:31 PM tonight, May 14th, 2025, Celina Police responded to a report that a man was possibly at Walmart and might have a bomb. The caller reported it to Walmart who then called us for assistance.

Celina Police were joined by the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office and the Celina Fire Department and Walmart staff conducted a smooth evacuation, and they assisted with Celina Police with a sweep of the building. 

No device was found, and Walmart was able to return to business in a short amount of time.

This call appears to be a hoax or swatting call. This incident remains under investigation.
