(5-8-2025) On May 7, 2025, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with the Decatur Police Department and the Indiana State Police, executed a search warrant at a residence in Decatur, Indiana, as part of an ongoing investigation into the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material.
This warrant stems from a 2024 investigation initiated by the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. As a result of the search, Christopher Teeple (35) was arrested on eleven (11) counts:
- Child exploitation
- possession of child pornography
- one count of possession of a controlled substance.
Teeple is currently being held in the Adams County Jail.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to protecting public safety and preventing crimes against children. We will continue working with our local, state, and federal partners to ensure that those who exploit children are held accountable.
