(5-1-25) Today Celina Police arrested Mark Rogel (20) on a 1st degree misdemeanor charge of aggravated menacing. He is being held on $50,000 (10%) bond at the Mercer County Adult Detention Center.

He is scheduled for a hearing tomorrow at 10:30 am in Celina Municipal Court.

Currently 78 inmates are being held locally.

In Ohio, aggravated menacing is defined in Ohio Revised Code Section 2903.21. It’s a misdemeanor of the first degree, unless certain aggravating factors are present, which can elevate it to a felony. Aggravated menacing occurs when a person knowingly causes another to believe they will cause serious physical harm to the person, their property, or their unborn or immediate family
