Grand Lake Health System proudly concluded its 2024 United Way of Auglaize County campaign with a total contribution of $6,000, raised through a combination of employee donations and payroll deductions. This support helped push the county-wide campaign to a total of just over $135,000 for the year.

The results were shared during a recent presentation at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, where Grand Lake Health System leadership highlighted the importance of community involvement and charitable giving.

According to Deb Zwez, Executive Director of United Way of Auglaize County, twelve local nonprofit partner agencies will benefit from the funds raised. “These contributions enable our partners to continue their vital work improving lives throughout the region,” Zwez said. “United Way funding supports critical services like food assistance, shelter for those facing domestic violence or homelessness, youth mentoring, literacy programs, mental health counseling, and care for cancer patients in our community.”
