(3-23-25) The Parkway Local School Board of Education will look to hire Laura Young as their new superintendent. A special meeting will be held this Wednesday March 26th at 6pm.
Young has been the Elementary School Principal at Holgate Local Schools since June of 2011, before that she was a 3rd grade teacher in Defiance Schools for 12 years.

According to online information in recent months…Young also applied at several area schools….she was one of four candidates interviewed for the McComb position in 2024, last month she was one of 13 candidates who applied for the Clear Fork job.

Mount Vernon Nazarene University Bachelor’s degree, Elementary Education and Teaching,
Bowling Green State University Master’s degree, Educational Leadership and Administration, General
The University of Findlay Superintendent’s License
