(3-12-25) Concerns in the Celina area have been based on rumors that the future of the Celina UPS facility might include being closed.

UPS spokesperson Karen Tomaszewski Hill responded to the Outlook’s request on the situation-

As mentioned during our earnings call in January, UPS is making changes to optimize our network and improve efficiency which will include closing some operations. Because the evaluation is ongoing, we do not have additional details on specific closures. Our employees and customers remain a top priority for us during this process.
