(3-12-25) Joseph Taylor (18) of Coldwater was arrested today on a 4th degree felony of menacing by stalking. He is being held in the Mercer County Adult Detention Center with no bond
In Ohio, “menacing by stalking” can be charged as a fourth-degree felony if the offender has a prior conviction for stalking, the victim is a minor, or if the offender threatened violence, trespassed, or had a deadly weapon, among other circumstances.
A iolation will result in a fourth-degree felony charge. Further, a felony in the fourth degree in Ohio is punishable by up to 18 months in prison and up to $5,000 in fines.
He is awaiting a Mercer County Common Pleas Court appearance.
