(2-20-25) Trey Frech (25) of New Paris was sentenced yesterday in Mercer County Common Pleas Court after he agreed in January to a plea deal.

After the sentencing he was booked into the Mercer County Adult Detention Center.

The Aggravated Vehicular homicide comes from a fatal crash that took place in late January of 2023 in which a 1 year old Amish girl lost her live.

During the sentencing process numerous letters of character support were presented to the Judge.
