Erica Lusk

Celina, 02/05/2025 – Erica Lusk is proud to announce her candidacy for Celina City Council, driven by a lifelong commitment to the community she calls home. Having lived in Celina her entire life, Erica has witnessed the resilience and unity that define the city—how neighbors come together to support, heal, and rebuild in times of need. Now, more than ever, she believes it is essential to work together, not against each other, to ensure every voice is heard and that Celina continues to grow in a way that benefits all residents.

A graduate of Celina High School, Erica went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Wright State University and a master’s degree in Special Education from Ball State University. She has dedicated the past three years to serving the community as an educator, working to shape the future of Celina’s youth and advocate for their success.

Lusk said…

“I love this community deeply and believe in its potential.Celina has always been a place where people support one another, and I want to continue fostering that spirit by ensuring our local government is open, transparent, and accessible to every resident.”

Lusk’s campaign will focus on key issues that matter most to Celina citizens. At the forefront is her unwavering support for first responders—those who play a critical role in maintaining the safety and well-being of the community. She is committed to advocating for the necessary resources, training, and support that police officers, firefighters, and emergency personnel need to serve effectively.

Bridging communication between residents and local government is another pillar of Lusk’s platform. She plans to advocate for open forums, town halls, and direct engagement channels to foster transparency and ensure every resident feels heard and represented.

Above all, Lusk’s goal is to promote unity, collaboration, and a shared vision for Celina’s future. She believes that fresh perspectives and new ideas are essential for progress and is eager to bring that energy to the city council.

Lusk added-

“It’s time for leadership that truly represents the diverse voices of our community. I am ready to be that voice and to work tirelessly to build a stronger, more connected Celina.”
