(2-4-25) Two people allegedly fled the Auglaize County Courthouse in Wapakoneta today and were later arrested in Wood County after leading area law enforcement agencies on a high-speed chase that passed through four counties.
Early information indicates that an Auglaize County Deputy was allegedly dragged by the vehicle while attempting to stop it.

The two suspects were next seen in Lima before taking off again…the chase reached speeds of 80 mph within the city limits. After leaving Lima the two continued north on Interstate 75, with speeds that reportedly reached 135 mph.
Law enforcement was able to deploy spike strips to deflate two of the vehicle’s tires. OnStar was able to remotely disable the vehicle and locked the suspects inside the vehicle until officers arrived.
The pursuit would end in the Bowling Green area.
