
(1-27-25) According to West Palm Beach (Florida) Police, the FBI received a tip from a Okeechobee, Florida man who said Shannon Depararro Atkins (46) made violent Facebook posts against President Donald Trump.
The two posts were made on Facebook, one of the posts was a re-post of a message that read-
‘Jan 20th is the Day of Mourning for USA.’ Atkins captioned his re-post, ‘Bullets please. Please Jesus! Save America.’
Another post read-
‘I’ve been banned from ‘X’, because I said I hope and pray someone kills him. History is supposed to repeat itself. We haven’t had an assassination in years.’

Atkins allegedly admitted to police to writing the posts. He was arrested and charged with –
written or electronic threats to kill, do bodily injury, or conduct a mass shooting or an act of terrorism and possession of cocaine.”
Atkins was apprehended Friday night during a traffic stop, per police. Atkins is being held at the Palm Beach County jail and faces a drug possession charge as well as one count of written or electronic threats to kill, do bodily injury, or conduct a mass shooting or an act of terrorism, a second-degree felony. Atkins has also been charged with introducing contraband to a detention center, a third-degree felony.
