Wapakoneta, OH (1-26-25) – The Wapakoneta High School Octagon Club is thrilled to announce an exciting community event in partnership with the Wapa Theatre and Generations of Love! On Monday, February 17th, bring the whole family for a free screening of The Lego Movie, starting at 6:00 PM.
“We’re thrilled to bring the community together for an event that’s both entertaining and meaningful,” said the club. “By partnering with the Wapa Theatre and supporting Generations of Love, we’re able to create a night of family fun while helping foster kids and families in need.”
This fun-filled evening is a perfect way to enjoy quality time with loved ones while supporting a vital cause. In lieu of admission, attendees are encouraged to bring donations to support Generations of Love, a vital resource for foster children and families in our community. Suggested donations include essentials like hygiene products and socks, fun items such as sports cards and craft supplies, or even cash contributions. “Items like hygiene products, craft supplies, and even small toys make a big difference,” the club explained. “This is a simple yet impactful way to show our community’s generosity and care.”
With no school scheduled for the day, this event offers a fantastic opportunity to connect, relax, and give back. All donations will directly benefit Generations of Love and make a positive impact in the lives of foster children and families.
“We hope to see families from all over our community join us for this special night,” added the club. “Together, we can make a difference while having a fantastic time.”
Join us at the Wapa Theatre for a night of laughter, family fun, and community support!
