
Saint Dymphna is the patron saint of those with mental or nervous disorders or mental illness.
MARIA STEIN, Ohio (January 4, 2025) – The winter months can be hard for many people, this service is for all those who battle or are praying for those with anxiety, depression, and mental health issues. We invite everyone to join us on Sunday, January 26 at 2:00pm, as we pray for the intercession of St. Dymphna, the patron saint of mental health. This service, which will be held in the Adoration Chapel at the Maria Stein Shrine, includes prayers and veneration of St. Dymphna’s relic. Speaking at the service is Nick Clune, certified CPMAP Mentor trained through the CatholicPsych Institute. Nick specializes in helping men and women build fulfilling relationships, overcome anxiety and depression, and discover deeper meaning in life through the integration of psychology, spirituality, and Catholic anthropology.
The Maria Stein Shrine of the Holy Relics provides faith nourishment and spiritual renewal through opportunities for prayer and pilgrimage and inspiration from the lives of the saints.
