(12-27-24) President Joe Biden (82), first lady Jill Biden and daughter Ashley Biden landed aboard Air Force One on December 26th and motorcaded to the beachfront villa of Bill and Connie Neville.
Who are the Nevilles? The Nevilles, who are Democrat donors, operate the US Viking software company, which makes an online content platform called ENPS marketed by The Associated Press and used by news outlets.
Biden and his family have stayed at the Neville house at the end of 2022 and 2023 for post-Christmas trips to celebrate New Year’s Eve… and also stayed there during his vice presidency.
Mark Paoletta, the incoming top lawyer for President Trump’s White House budget office told the NY Post–
“His habit of taking over donors’ homes for vacations and not paying nor disclosing is consistent with his family’s long history of grift and corruption.”
Tax-payers provide Air Force One, Secret Service agents and assumes other costs for the trip that will include numerous family members. Cost of the trip is not disclosed publicly by the White House.
This year President Biden took off for his annual trip after he signed 50 bills on Christmas Eve and days after he signed a stopgap measure to avert a government shutdown.
He was criticized last week for being absent during talks to keep the government open. Plus fighting has intensified in the Middle East and the Ukraine.
This will not be Biden’s final trip out of the country…he plans to travel to Italy next month, “Discuss efforts to advance peace around the world.”, for meetings with Pope Francis, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Italian President Sergio Mattarella.
