(12-23-24) 9:27 pm on Friday night Van Wert County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an area of Lincoln Highway in Ridge Township for a complaint of reckless driving. Deputies stopped the vehicle in question at 9:34 pm on Sycamore Street in Van Wert.

After investigating and testing the driver, Oscar Alexander Mendez Jimenez (24) of Delphos, he was placed under arrest for Driving While Under the Influence and Driving without a Valid Driver License.

Jimenez was transported to the Van Wert County Correctional Facility.
