(11-30-24) Celina Police arrested Douglas Painter (58) on misdemeanor charges of criminal mischief and theft without consent.

In most cases, conviction of criminal mischief under ORC 2929.07(A)(1) is a third degree misdemeanor carrying the following penalties:

  • 60 days maximum jail
  • $500 maximum fine

Painter is being held in the Mercer County Adult Detention Center and is awaiting a Celina Municipal Court hearing.
