(11-21-24) Yesterday at 10:15 am Van Wert County Sheriff’s Deputies served a warrant issued out of Mercer County Juvenile Court. Cierra L Zeigler (31) of Rockford, was located in the Village of Ohio City.

She was transported to the Mercer County Line where custody was transferred to Mercer County.

Zeigler was recently sentenced on a 1st degree misdemeanor charge of contributing to the unruliness delinquency of a child, act in way tending to cause child to become unruly.

Unruly Child

An unruly child is defined as any child who does not subject himself or herself to the reasonable control of his or her parents, teachers, guardian or custodian, is habitually truant from home or school; deports himself or herself as to injure or endanger his health or morals; attempts to enter marriage without consent; is found to be in a disreputable place, or engages in an occupation prohibited by law. Unruly offenses include behaviors such as truancy from school, running away, and being incorrigible. 

She is being held in the Mercer County Adult Detention Center with no bond.
