(11-19-24) The membership of St. Paul’s Country Church, located at 1538 Oregon Road, Rockford, OH invites you to their worship service at 10 AM on Sunday, November 24, 2024.

The lesson title is “Jesus, Truth Personified” which is based on John 18:33-37 and will be presented by Pastor Mike Husted. 

John 18:33-37

33 Pilate then went back inside the palace,summoned Jesus and asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?”

34 “Is that your own idea,” Jesus asked, “or did others talk to you about me?”

35 “Am I a Jew?” Pilate replied. “Your own people and chief priests handed you over to me. What is it you have done?”

36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”

37 “You are a king, then!” said Pilate.

Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”

Then mark your calendar 11-24-2024 for a Chatt Valley Community Thanksgiving Service at St. John’s Lutheran Church – Hopewell at 7 PM. Location: 9009 State Route 118, Celina, OH. Chatt Valley churches include: St. John’s Lutheran Hopewell; St. Paul’s Country; Zion Lutheran Chatt; and Chatt Methodist. A Refreshment Reception follows the service. Everyone is invited to this service. Handicapped accessible. 

Sunday School at St. Paul’s starts at 9:00 a.m. for all ages. Children’s Junior Church is every Sunday except the last Sunday of the month. Bible-based lessons and children’s activities plus snacks are included. 

Bible Study and “The Chosen” movie series are again offered weekly.
