(11-18-24) Former Dunkirk,Indiana resident, Kennley Johnson (43) has been sentenced to more than 20 years in federal prison for drug- and firearm-related convictions.

The U.S. Department of Justice, said that Johnson most recently of Anderson, was sentenced last week to 250 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to three counts of methamphetamine distribution and two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Walton Pratt ruled that Johnson would be on supervised release for five years after his release from prison.
Johnson on three occasions in March and April of 2024 was observed selling a total of 131.8 grams of methamphetamine, a Colt pistol and a Manuel Escodin revolver to a person in Anderson.
A search warrant was served at Johnson’s Anderson home, investigators seized more than 380 additional grams of meth, along with a loaded handgun and ammunition.
The former Dunkirk resident was also found carrying $5,857 in cash.
