
(11-18-24) Juan Rangel (34) St. Marys has been charged in Auglaize County Common Pleas Court and faces three first-degree felony counts of rape and four fourth-degree felony counts of gross sexual imposition. He was arrested Nov. 15 and later that day entered pleas of not guilty to all the charges. The alleged incidents occurred in May of this year.
He was arrested on November 5th.
Rangel is being held in the Auglaize County Jail on a $1 million bond (10%). He has been ordered by Judge Frederick Pepple to undergo tests to determine if he is a carrier of a virus that causes Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome, or AIDS.

A telephone pre-trial hearing for Rangel is scheduled for Nov. 26.
