(11-6-24) President Donald Trump will return to the highest position in America as he will become the 47th US President. Trump convincingly beat Democrat nominee Vice-President Kamala Harris.

Trump in his victory speech in Florida said that he will lead the “golden age of America” upon his inauguration. Harris, has not yet conceded and she skipped addressing her supporters, opting to instead speak to voters and the nation on Wednesday.

His projected win in battleground Wisconsinput the Republican over the top with 276 electoral votes as counting continues in some key states.

Republicans added three Senate seats, as Bernie Moreno defeated three-term Democratic senator Sherrod Brown in Ohio, and Jim Justice won the seat once held by Joe Manchin in West Virginia. Early on Wednesday morning, Republican Tim Sheehy won a closely-watched Montana Senate seat, defeating three-term incumbent Jon Tester.
Republican incumbents also fought off Democratic challengers in Texas, where Ted Cruz defeated Colin Allred, and in Florida, where Rick Scott wdefeated Debbie Mucarsel-Powell.
It appears with early results that the Republicans will still control the House as well, depending on states who are still counting votes in some races.
