(9-30-24) Get ready for Rocktoberfest in downtown Rockford, Ohio.  Join us on October 26th for a full day of festivities in Rockford.  Starting at 1 pm at the heart of it all – Rockford’s Main Street.

Enjoy a vendor’s market (55 vendors) and retail specials at participating businesses from 1-5 pm.  Did someone say food — this year features a mini food truck rally — so come hungry.

Special Events Include:  Live Music, a Car Show, a Hayride, a Petting Zoo, Spin the Wheel, a Grocery Store Game, and a Fremont Catsup by the case sale!    Rockford Carnegie Library will have a Free Will Donation Book Sale, Free Crafts for children and adults, and Free Kid’s Activities outside.  There is something for everyone!

Before the big event – The Shanes Crossing Historical Society will be dedicating the Ohio Historical Marker honoring Anthony Shane (Our Founding Father) and “Johnny Appleseed” at Hedges Park at Noon.  Please park at the Rockford American Legion. 

The Village of Rockford’s Trick-or-Treat will take place from 5-6:30 pm. Be sure to stop by the library for a free book!  Stick around for costume judging and delicious fall treats at The Rockford Fire Dept at 7 pm.
