(9-30-24) On September 27, 2024 at about 11:41PM Celina Police officers responded to a domestic violence call involving an assault and the discharge of a firearm. The female suspect reportedly fled the scene.

Through the investigation it was found that Jeremy Moell (39) was living at the residence with his two young children. Moell’s estranged wife, Amber Marie Moell (39) came to the residence and an argument ensued. He reports that she struck him and then retrieved the 9mm handgun, which was kept at that residence. She reportedly threatened him with the gun and then threatened to kill herself. Jeremy Moell tried to disarm Amber Moell. The gun discharged during the attempt. The bullet lodged in a wall. No one was injured and Amber Moell left the scene.

Amber Moell was located in Auglaize County and arrested. She is being held on Domestic Violence charges with further charges pending review by the Mercer County Prosecutor Erin Miner.

(9-28-24) Amber Moell (39) of St. Marys was arrested today for a 1st degree misdemeanor Domestic Violence chargeby the Celina Police Department.

She is being held at the Mercer County Adult Detention Center with no bond and awaiting a Celina Municipal Court Hearing.

She also has an October 16th hearing on an OVI charge from August 5th.
