Columbus, OH (9-20-24) — This week, reporting from WEWS revealed that in his hunt for voter fraud, Ohio’s biggest Loser Frank LaRose referred hundreds of cases to prosecutors, but only a handful had any merit. Despite prosecutors finding nothing unlawful occurred after a full investigation, LaRose’s team complained that prosecutors had not pursued the cases further in a letter to AG Dave Yost’s office.

Even after prosecutors assured LaRose’s office that there were no cases that went uninvestigated and that they simply “can’t pursue meritless cases”, he continued to go after them in what amounted to an “attack on prosecutors.”

Numerous, nonpartisan sources have confirmed that there are no cases of widespread voter fraud in Ohio. Despite LaRose supporting one of the nation’s most restrictive voter ID lawspurging thousands of voters from the rolls, and even suggesting that the legislature ban absentee ballot drop boxes in his relentless pursuit of what he claims to be voter fraud, it just doesn’t exist on a wide scale.

LaRose’s laser focus on attacking prosecutors reveals his willingness to set aside the rule of law in favor of partisan politics. Ohio voters should be concerned that we are quickly approaching the most important election in our state’s history and the top elections official is more interested in attacking our law enforcement officials. It’s clear where LaRose’s priorities lie.
