(9-18-24) Yesterday at 5:48 am Van Wert County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash on State Route 49 near State Route 81 in Willshire Township.

A 2023 Kenworth driven by Surinder Singh (64) of Friant California was turning westbound off St. Rt. 49 at St. Rt. 81 and cut the corner to short. Singh drove the rear of the trailer up over the guard rail and got stuck and had to be lifted off the guard rail by a wrecker.

No injuries were reported.
