(9-10-24) The Decatur Police Department would like to make the public aware that Tyler Sills (25) is in custody. Sills had an active arrest warrant regarding his alleged involvement in an aggravated battery that occurred last month behind a bar in downtown Decatur.

Decatur Police says that all of the tips and information they received regarding Sills’ whereabouts was helpful. Investigators and officers with several agencies had been working on locating Tyler and this afternoon was apprehended in Allen County.

Sills is currently in the custody of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office without bond on the felony charge of Aggrevated Battery.
