(8-31-24) In Jay County…Joseph L. Steed (18) Fort Recovery was arrested on Thursday on felony strangulation charges.

Steed was preliminarily charged with a Level 6 felony for the alleged crime and a Level 6 felony for domestic battery.

He was being held on a $4,500 bond at the Jay County Jail.

In Mercer County…three arrests landed individuals into the Mercer County Adult Detention Center.

All three are awaiting hearings in Celina Municipal Court.

Lance Nicholson (53) of West Carrollton was booked from a July 2nd incident.
