Chicago, IL- Ohio Democratic National Convention delegation concluded the first two nights of the Democratic National Convention. Ohio delegates joined Democrats from around the country in honoring President Biden for his years of service and looking towards Vice President Harris’ bold vision for America.

Ohio delegates kicked off the week by hearing from party leaders, including Congresswoman Joyce Beatty, about what’s at stake in this election. Then, they honored President Biden’s years of service, delivering real results for Ohioans.

Last night, delegates took part in a ceremonial roll call following the official vote earlier this month.. Ohio Democratic Party Chair Elizabeth Walters said

“As the first woman to lead Ohio Democrats, I am honored to cast Ohio’s 142 votes for Vice President Kamala Harris.”

Ohio Democratic Party spokeswoman Katie Seewer.

“Halfway through this historic convention, the energy among Ohio delegates only continues to grow. But we’re not stopping at the doors of the convention hall. Over the next 76 days, Ohioans will be working  across the state to elect Democrats up and down the ballot and continue making history.
