(8-12-24) Four arrests were made today in possession of drug charges (5th degree felony).

All four are being held in the Mercer County Adult Detention Center with no bond. They will all have hearings in the Mercer County Common Pleas Court.

Katie Schlarman (32) of Celina is facing these charges after two prior arrests and convictions in 2018 and 2019 on the same charge.

Dustin Abrahamson (35) was convicted on the same charge in 2021.

Kelley Frye (33) was convicted on the same charge in 2018.

Brandy Price (31) does not show a drug conviction in Mercer County.

Celina, OH – Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey reports the arrest of four individuals yesterday on drug related charges.  On Monday, August 12th at 2:12 PM a deputy of the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.  Information obtained from the traffic stop lead to the application of a search warrant.

Deputies were assisted by Assistant Mercer County Prosecutor Tony Miller in applying for the search warrant, which was later reviewed and granted by Celina Municipal Court Judge Kathryn Speelman.

Deputies armed with the search warrant responded to the residence of 9571 Celina Mendon Road Celina, Ohio and served the warrant at 5:45 PM.  During the search of the residence, four individuals were taken into custody on drug related charges.  Arrested were the following

 1.  Brandy A Price (31) of 74 Beechview Drive Brookville, Ohio.  Price was charged with Possession of Drugs a Felony of the 5th degree
 2.  Katie N Schlarman (32) of 1517 Mary Lane Celina, Ohio.  Schlarman was charged with Possession of Drugs a Felony of the 5th degree
 3.  Kelcey L Frye (33) of 12751 Old Trail Road Rockford, Ohio.  Frye was charged with Possession of Drugs a Felony of the 5th degree
 4.  Dustin B Abrahamson of 228 W 2nd Street Delphos, Ohio.  Abrahamson was charged with Possession of Drugs a Felony of the 5th degree

This case remains under investigation at this time.  The case will be sent to the Mercer County Prosecutors Office once completed for review of additional charges.
